The Ohio Victims of Crime Compensation Program provides a way for victims to recover their economic losses resulting from injuries suffered as a result of crime. The goal of the program is to ensure that every innocent victim of crime receives all the compensation allowed under the law.
VINElink is the online version of VINE (Victim Information and Notification Everyday), the National Victim Notification Network. This service allows crime victims to obtain timely and reliable information about criminal cases and the custody status of offenders 24 hours a day. Victims and other concerned citizens can also register to be notified by phone, email, text message (SMS) or TTY device when an offender's custody status changes. ODVN is a state-wide coalition of domestic violence programs, supportive agencies and concerned individuals organizing to ensure the elimination of domestic violence by: providing technical assistance, resources, information and training to all who address or are affected by domestic violence; and promoting social and systems change through public policy, public awareness and education initiatives.
