15 - Patrol Officers
8 - Emergency Communications Operators
1 - Secretary/Accrediation Manager
Interested in becomming a member?
Basic requirements are a high school diploma or GED, 21 years of age at the time of hiring and passing the civil service written testing given by the department.
As part of the hiring process you must be able to pass medical, psychological, polygraph and fitness tests as well a criminal background check. If you have no prior police training or certifications, paid attendance at a police academy for 16-20 weeks will be required.
